This handcrafted saya features a Red Sparkle Lacquer (赤ラメ塗) finish—a deep crimson lacquer base enriched with fine reflective particles. Under light, the surface shimmers with metallic brilliance, shifting subtly between red and wine tones. The effect is elegant yet vivid, giving the saya a refined modern aesthetic while echoing the traditional allure of red lacquer.

The koiguchi (mouth), kurigata (cord knob), and kojiri (end cap) are crafted from polished natural horn, providing both structural durability and organic beauty.
